Kangaroos here always equate to deer there... they jump out at the car at odd times, you see them standing in the grass night and morning, and unfortunately they are the most common road kill... Buffalo is good eating but I wouldn't want to hit one in the car! thanks mate!Displacedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10935138415726176103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-526597241104859913.post-58884789905938675542012-12-03T21:32:16.786-08:002012-12-03T21:32:16.786-08:00Hi Siobhan - great to hear from you again! Here in northern Canada the better choice is buffalo, for the same reasons!FibroFacialGalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00490696867905410299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-526597241104859913.post-78599258476253099402012-12-03T04:58:20.616-08:002012-12-03T04:58:20.616-08:00Great to see you back again and getting stuck into...Great to see you back again and getting stuck into the new eating plan I've tried paleo and also a FODMAP free eating plan and the first 2 weeks were the toughest (sugar withdrawl) I found making these breakfast bars a lifesaver; in a bowl mix 250g of rolled oats, 250g of mixed nuts (unsalted) and seeds, 100g or so of dried fruit (cranberries, cherries, apricots) and 75g dried coconut with some warmed maple syrup (maybe some coconut oil) until it comes together. Press into a tin and bake at 130C for an hour or until golden. You can cut into bars (and even freeze some) or break up and have as cereal with almond milk which has magnesium, vit e and selenium which will help with pre menopause symptoms. You've had an amazing year since I first read your blog this time last year, you're writing has been a wonderful source of humour, information, reality and support for me there is always something in everything you write so hang in there and thank you.
